JCI Employee discount programs (The Loop by Perk Spot) Check us Out: A Day in the Life of the Building of the Future How you will do it Maintain and expand your customer-based route for fire and life safety equipment while you grow the business and receive commissions on growth above and beyond base salary. Perform inspections, servicing, repairs, and installations of fire suppression products including emergency lights, fire extinguishers, kitchen hoods and pre-engineered and industrial systems. Identify equipment deficiencies and address them to meet code requirements. Upsell new product offerings and services to existing customers to ensure compliance with current fire code regulations. Provide recommendations based on manufacturer's specifications and state/local codes. Develop and sell new accounts within your assigned geographical route area based on compliance criteria to offer suppression products and services. What we look for Required Previous experience in the Fire Protection industry, Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and basic computer skills. Ability to work in congested and restricted areas. Effective communication skills with both internal and external customers Knowledge of NFPA standards. Valid motor vehicle license. Must be able to pass a background check and drug test. High School diploma / GED.
